Father’s Day is the day we honor the men in our lives who helped shape us. I adore my father. I take after him when it comes to dreaming and aiming high and I have wonderful memories from growing up with him. He took me on amazing trips to places like New York City and San Francisco, gave me my first taste of a fabulous life with my first ride in a convertible and my first time in first class, and has always been there when I needed him.
For this Father’s Day, I have put together a list of great gifts to show your father you care.
Father’s Day Gifts
This 19-piece set has everything a man needs to whip up great food on the grill. I bought my dad an amazing set a few years ago from Brookstone and it has been, by far, his most used gift. He loved it. While I haven’t found that same set again, this set is comparable and a much better price. It would make the perfect Father’s Day gift.
If you have a dad or man in your life like my husband, he cleans the car quite often and does not like it getting super dirty. This vacuum would be a great gift to help him keep it clean. He would be one of few people on the planet that would get excited about being given a cleaning appliance.
“Dad – No matter what life throws at you, at least you don’t have ugly children”. I love this coffee mug. It’s awesome and fits perfectly with the sense of humor my family has. If he’s into coffee, a mug may be just thing.
My husband and my dad can’t live without their valet trays. They fit in your bedside drawer but can also look good on a counter. This one has 5 compartments and has a nice leather look to it.
This is just fun and unique. When I got married, the first ring I got my husband was an amazing wood ring. It was one of his favorites. We eventually switched it out, but it was always a piece that stood out. The idea of being about to do the same thing with a watch is so cool.
If the man in your life is a writer, this may be the perfect gift. It is beautiful and sophisticated making writing in it a pleasure.
Who doesn’t love a good “dad joke”? My husband and I laugh at the fact that he literally started making weird “dad jokes” and puns within months of finding out we were pregnant. It’s like a switch suddenly gets flipped once a man becomes a father. I think this may be his gift from his daughter this Father’s Day.
Because of my father, I have always dreamed of bigger things and have followed through on them or, at the very least, given them a try. When he first took me to California and rented that first convertible, I swore I would eventually move there and get a convertible of my own and I did. While I no longer live in California, as I wanted to be closer to family when I found out I was pregnant with my first child, I do still have the convertible and I think of him every time I drive it. Finding the perfect gift for Father’s Day can sometimes feel difficult but, remember, nothing beats a heartfelt message so, no matter what you get your dad, make sure to let him know what he means to you.
